1. Who is responsible for your information?

2. What information do we collect?
Bingo participation: your display name, which cells you mark, and (if a claim is confirmed) that you won a game. Companion/recovery codes are generated for you, not collected from you. Booking enquiries: whatever you choose to share with us via WhatsApp, phone or email when planning an event. Hosts additionally provide venue, sponsor and branding details they choose to add to their own account.
3. Why do we use it?
We use information to run live bingo sessions, issue and mark cards, detect and verify winners, show results on the host’s screens, respond to booking enquiries, and improve the experience. Session data is also used for the host’s own reporting and analytics on how a night performed.
4. How long do we keep information?
Session data (display names, marks, winners and results) is not automatically discarded when a session ends — it’s retained for operational purposes (results, support, analytics and the host’s own event records) until deleted in line with our account data retention practices. We don’t apply a fixed automatic deletion window. The host running your session can access their own event’s data through their BingoTime account; Noel Johnson Entertainment can access it as the platform operator. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see “Your rights” below.
5. Marketing contact
When joining a session you may optionally tick “Send me news about future events” and share a cellphone number for that purpose. This is entirely optional — you can join and play without opting in, and the cellphone field only appears if you tick the box. Only players who opt in this way have their number stored for marketing (added to the host’s own contact list for their business); if you don’t opt in, no contact number is collected and your details are used only to run the session you’re playing, never for marketing.
6. Not a gambling platform
BingoTime does not process real-money wagers, bets, or payouts of any kind. Any prizes offered during a session are provided and funded entirely at the discretion and responsibility of the host and/or venue running that session, not by BingoTime or Noel Johnson Entertainment.
7. Your rights
Subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other applicable law, you may ask whether we hold information about you, request access, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. Contact us using the details above.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet system is completely risk-free. Please contact us first if you have any concerns.
